Special Council Meeting, October 17, 2023
The Special meeting of the Miramichi River Valley Council met at 18:00 hrs with Mayor Russell presiding.

Moved by Councillor Sheasgreen, seconded by Councillor S. Vickers to award the snow removal for municipal streets contract to Ron Underhill Trucking for (3) years in the amount of $268,500 HST included. MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by Councillor Hallihan, seconded by Councillor Sheasgreen to award the contract for snow removal of the Sunny Corner fire hall to Edward Jardine for one year in the amount of $9,000 plus HST. MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by Councillor M. Vickers, seconded by Councillor S. Vickers to award the contract for snow removal of the Renous/Quarryville fire halls to 685794 NB Inc. for one year in the amount of $15,000 plus HST. MOTION CARRIED.
Council meets in regular session on the first Tuesday of each month. Meetings begin at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at the Miramichi River Valley Municipal Office, 12 Bartholomew Road South in Blackville and are open to the public.
