Conference Call
The Special meeting of the Blackville Village Council met by conference call at 19:00 hrs with Mayor Fortune residing.
RE: Foundation for Walls Building
Moved by Councillor Denver Brennan, seconded by Councillor Amanda Brennan to hire Savard Construction to put in a walk out foundation at the Walls’ historic house at a cost of $29,000 (HST included). MOTION CARRIED.
RE: Five Year Capital Investment Plan
Moved by Councillor Ross, seconded by Councillor Denver Brennan that the document entitled Village of Blackville Five Year Capital Investment Plan for the Canada Community Building Fund 2019-2023 be adopted. MOTION CARRIED.
Council meets in regular session on the first Tuesday of each month. Meetings begin at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at the Miramichi River Valley Municipal Office, 12 Bartholomew Road South in Blackville and are open to the public.
