Special Council Meeting, January 16, 2024
The Special meeting of the Miramichi River Valley met at 20:00 hrs with Mayor Russell residing.
- RDC Application
Moved by Councillor Hallihan, seconded by Councillor Sheasgreen to make an application to the Regional Development Corporation for funding for a generator for the Sunny Corner fire hall. MOTION CARRIED.
- Letter of Support
Moved by Councillor Brennan, seconded by Councillor Sheasgreen to send a letter of support in for the establishment of a Zonal Immigration Partnership in the Greater Miramichi Region. MOTION CARRIED
Council meets in regular session on the first Tuesday of each month. Meetings begin at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at the Miramichi River Valley Municipal Office, 12 Bartholomew Road South in Blackville and are open to the public.
Members of the public shall not be entitled to address the council during the meetings unless the clerk has been notified at least five business days prior to the council meeting, and the item has been added to the agenda of the meeting.
