The Miramichi Lacrosse season is officially underway, with practices taking place at the Sunny Corner Arena. Participants are registered from Esgenoôpetitj to Sillikers and everywhere in between.

Registration remains open, and new players are encouraged to attend a practice to try out the sport. Kids are welcome to join with a hockey helmet and gloves to experience lacrosse before signing up. Sticks will be available for those who need them.

The club is actively seeking players from all age groups. Lacrosse is an excellent cross-training sport for hockey players, as much of the gear (helmet, gloves, chest, and elbow protection) can be reused.

Practice Schedule:

• U7 (5-6 years old, 2019-2020)
• U9 (7-8 years old, 2017-2018)
• U11 (9-10 years old, 2015-2016)
  • Saturdays: 10:00 am – 11:00 am
  • Wednesdays: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
• U13 (11-12 years old, 2013-2014)
• U15 (13-14 years old, 2011-2012)
• U17 (15-16 years old, 2009-2010)
  • Saturdays: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
  • Wednesdays: 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Fees:

• U9 and under: $100.00
• U11 and up: $225.00
• Multi-child discounts:
