Village Poll: Summer Garbage Collection

The village of Blackville is currently exploring an option for weekly garbage collection during the summer months from June to September. Blue bins would be collected once a month during this period.
Mayor and council are looking for feedback from Blackville residents. Please answer YES if you support the option for weekly garbage collection and monthly blue bin collection during the summer months, or NO if you think garbage collection and blue bin collection should remain bi-weekly (as it is now) during the summer months.
NOTE: This decision would only affect residents of Blackville. Waste collection in surrounding communities would remain the same.

I have a full blue bin every 2 weeks and they won’t pick up if it’s not in the bin so I would just have more garbage why can’t they leave blue bin every 2 weeks

This makes no sense! Are we not trying to dirvert as much recycled material as possible from our landfill? I know at our house we are now filling a Blue bin as quick as we are the garbage bin. I feel other options should be explored.

Agree 100% on garbage every week but my blue bin is full every few weeks so once a month isn’t enough for me.
