Blackville Days set for July 24-27

Blackville Days is just around the corner, and the community is gearing up for a fun-filled weekend packed with local favourites and family-friendly events!

From Thursday, July 24 to Sunday, July 27, join friends and neighbours to celebrate the spirit of Blackville with everything from delicious meals and exciting tournaments to markets and a lively Family Day.

Whether you’re digging into a spaghetti supper, cheering on your favourite slowpitch team, or exploring the mysterious world of the Dungarvon Whooper, there’s something for everyone. See full schedule below:

Thursday, July 24

Spaghetti Supper
Time: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Location: Blackville Community Centre, 12 South Bartholomew Road
Cost: $20 per person. Includes Spaghetti, Garlic Bread, Caesar Salad and Dessert
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available at Municipal Office and Circle K.

Friday, July 25

Slowpitch Tournament
Time: 6:00 PM – Midnight
Location: Blackville Ball Field, 5 Underwood Drive
Canteen will be open, 50/50 Draws & Prizes

Saturday, July 26

Breakfast
Time: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Location: Blackville Fire Department, 54 Main Street
Cost: $10 adults / $6 Children. Includes bacon, eggs, toast, hashbrowns, juice, tea and coffee.

Slowpitch Tournament
Time: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Location: Blackville Ball Field, 5 Underwood Drive
Canteen will be open, 50/50 Draws & Prizes

Blackville Village Market
Time: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Tourism Information Centre, 168 Main Street

Washer Toss Tournament
Time: 8:00 PM (following softball tournament)
Location: Blackville Ball Field, 5 Underwood Drive
Cost: $10 per player. Random draw for partners.

Dare the Dark: Dungarvon Whooper Experience
Time: 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Location: Tourism Information Centre, 168 Main Street
Cost: $15 per person (tickets available at tourist centre – open daily 10am – 6pm)

Sunday, July 27

Family Day
Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: Blackville Municipal Park, 158 Main Street
Free cake, face painting, jumping castle, foam machine, BBQ on site.
