Village of Blackville Hosts Annual Seniors Supper

The Village of Blackville hosted their annual senior’s supper on Monday, April 15 to a packed house at Saint Andrew’s United Church Centre.  A full turkey supper and dessert was served by the United Church Women and parishioners.

The Miramichi Fiddlers provided the evening’s entertainment – a huge hit with the crowd.

Nearly one hundred fifty people were in attendance, and takeouts were also provided to those who were unable to attend. Door prizes were awarded to Peggy McLaughlin, Josephine Sturgeon, Mary Esther Moody and Trudy Underhill. This annual event is provided free of charge to seniors 65 years of age and older who live within the village limits.
