Village of Blackville Honours Jerry Stafford With Municipal Park Plaque

The village of Blackville hosted an Appreciation Night for local businessman Jerry Stafford on Friday, October 13 at the Blackville Community Centre.
The mayor and council presented Jerry with a plaque in appreciation of his outstanding contributions to our community. A plaque will also be installed at the Blackville Municipal Park.
The event was well attended with many community groups presenting him with cards and gifts.Presentations were made by the village of Blackville, Blackville Recreation Council, Blackville Girl Guides, Blackville Minor Baseball, Home & School, MLA Jake Stewart, Blackville School, Carolyn Coughlan, Meals on Wheels and Foodland staff.
Jerry spoke fondly of the community and his employees. The local businessman stepped down as manager of Blackville Foodland on September 9.
