Renous River Bridge #2 in Pineville Closed Indefinitely

Please be advised that effective Friday afternoon December 3, 2021, the Renous River Bridge #2 in Pineville has closed to all traffic indefinitely.
The closure is due to safety concerns identified by structural engineers.
Signed detours are in place on both Route 108 and the South Renous Road.
Canada Post is in the process of placing a Community Mailbox on the South Renous Road for those customers who have a spot in the community mailbox at 15 Red Bridge Road.
In the meantime, parcels and cheques will be delivered to the door to those who are affected by the bridge closure. Like the residents, we did not received any notice about this closure.
