Tubing season is back, and Vickers River Tubing is ready to welcome guests starting Friday, June 20. Located at 906 Howard Road in Howard, New Brunswick, Vickers offers a laid-back tubing experience along the scenic South West Miramichi River — perfect for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking to unwind on the water.

This year, the popular tubing destination will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the last river run launching at 5:00 p.m. While reservations aren’t required, guests are encouraged to check Vickers’ social media for any weather-related closures, as tubing is dependent on safe river conditions.

2025 Pricing

All prices include HST and cover a single or double river tube and round-trip transportation to and from the launch and exit points:

• Teens & Adults (13+): $34.50
• Kids (3–12): $28.50
• Infants & Toddlers (0–2): Free
• Cooler Tubes: $14.50
• Tubing Tuesdays (All ages): $23.00

At this time, Vickers is cash only, though the team is working on setting up debit and credit machines for the 2025 season.

What’s New This Season

This year, Vickers is offering a shorter river run, approximately 1.5 to 2 hours in length. However, guests are welcome to go again at no extra charge — your admission covers you for the entire day.

A new Customer Loyalty Program is also launching: complete five river runs this summer and your sixth is free. Guests can request a punch pass at the office on arrival.

Vickers River Tubing has over 1,000 tubes and three shuttle buses to help keep wait times low. Life jackets are available to borrow for free, but supply is limited, so visitors who need one are encouraged to bring their own or call ahead to reserve a size. Those requiring wheelchair-accessible accommodations are asked to contact the office in advance.
