The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI) will be closing one lane on the Newcastle Bridge in Miramichi from Thursday, October 17th, to Friday, October 18th, to carry out deck repaving work. The lane closure will be in effect from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm each day. Flaggers will be in place to manage traffic flow.

While the bridge will still be passable, motorists should expect delays during the repaving. Emergency Services will be able to pass through if needed.

Drivers are advised to plan accordingly and use alternate routes if possible to avoid the congestion during these hours.
