New Weekly Garbage Pickup and Monthly Recycling Schedule for Miramichi River Valley Residents This Summer

All residents in the communities of Miramichi River Valley will move to a new weekly garbage pickup schedule for the summer months of July and August. Recycling will be picked up once a month during those two months. A full schedule will be available before the changes take place.
For residents of Blackville, there will be no change to their regular schedule. As in previous years, garbage collection will be every Thursday during the summer months of June, July, August and September within the Blackville limits. Curbside Recycling (blue bin) will still be every second week.
What is it going to be for Halcomb residents?
Garbage will be held weekly on your regular day during July and August. Recycling will be once a month (and will be held on one of the garbage days). A schedule will be posted prior to the changes.
I live in the Nelson area….are we included in this change
This change only applies to the communities within the limits of the Rural Community of Miramichi River Valley.
