Miramichi River Valley Thrift Store Celebrates Grand Opening

The Miramichi River Valley Community Thrift Store recently celebrated their one year anniversary with a Grand Opening at their shop in Renous.

The Miramichi River Valley Thrift Store is a proud and dedicated supporter of the community, continually giving back to help local causes and initiatives thrive.

The store has made several generous donations totaling more than $9,000, a testament to the generosity of both its volunteers and loyal shoppers.

    • Out of the Cold Shelter – $500
    • Dining with Dignity $200
    • Turkey draw for three customers
    • Turkeys for three food bank recipients
    • Supported one family from schools in Blackville, Millerton and Sunny Corner with gifts for family members
    • Christmas cards for Bridgeview Nursing Home clients

    • Minor Hockey – $500
    • Blackville Recreation Council – $500
    • Miramichi Ground Search and Rescue – $1500
    • Three Easter hams draw
    • Bursaries of $400 for Blackville and Sunny Corner graduates, $400 for MVH and $400 for Millerton Elementary
