World Day of Prayer is Friday, March 1 and several local church women’s groups will join together to host a special community service at Saint Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, 107 Main Street in Blackville.

The service takes place at 7:00pm and is hosted by St. Raphael’s Catholic Women’s League (Blackville), Trinity Anglican Church Women (Blackville), St. Andrews United Church Women (Blackville), St. Bridget’s Church Women (Renous) and White Rapids Catholic Women’s League (White Rapids).

All faiths welcome. Everyone is invited to attend.

World Day of Prayer is a prayer movement that invites people to enrich their faith experience of Christians from other countries and cultures and to bring hope to women touched by injustice.
