The Rural Community of Miramichi River Valley prepares to honour the achievements and sacrifices of those who served our country at two Remembrance Day ceremonies on November 11.

Blackville Legion Branch #49 will be hosting their Remembrance Day ceremony on Saturday, November 11 at Blackville High School, 12 MacLaggan Drive. Attendees are asked to be at the school by 10:30am with the service beginning around 10:50am. Two minutes of silence will be observed at 11:00am.

The Northwest Branch Miramichi #90-hosted Remembrance Day service will be held on Saturday, November 11 at 2:00pm at North & South Esk Regional High School, 40 North West Road in Sunny Corner. A light lunch will follow at the Legion, 26 Tozer Lane. There will also be music in the Dart Room by Toe Jammers Saturday night beginning at 9:00pm. 19+.
