GBRC Hunger Awareness Week September 18 – 22

The Greater Blackville Resource Centre invites you to join them in observing Hunger Awareness Week from September 18 to 22.

On Monday, September 18 from 12:00 noon until 1:00pm, there will be a free community lunch for everyone (Soup’s On) at Voice of Hope Ministries in Upper Blackville.

A Volunteer Appreciation Banquet will be held on Tuesday, September 19 at 6:00pm at Trinity Anglican Hall, 295 Main Street.

On Tuesday, September 19 at 7:00pm, the GBRC Annual General Meeting will be held at Trinity Hall. Everyone welcome.

Food Bank Distribution Day is on Wednesday at GBRC.

On Wednesday, September 20 from 10:00am until noon, Canning Class: Learn to Preserve Food will be held at Voice of Hope Ministries. This event is free. Call 843-9034 to register.

At 1:30pm on Wednesday, “Everybody Eats”, a conversation on food and its importance in New Brunswick will be facilitated by Chanelle Melanson at the Greater Blackville Resource Centre (Voice of Hope Ministries building). All are welcome to join the learning and the discussion.

On Thursday, September 21 from noon until 1:00pm, Soup’s On will be held at Father AA McKinnon Memorial Hall. Free community lunch for everyone.
