Funeral Announcements for Ty Croft, Kobe Curtis and Denver Jardine
Funeral details for local teens who passed away accidentally early Sunday morning in Blackville.
Ty Croft
Ty William Croft of Main Street, Blackville passed away on Sunday at the age of 17.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of Cora-Lee and Dana Croft. He was a student and a member of St. Andrew’s United Church.
Besides his parents Dana and Cora-Lee, he is survived by his brother Thomas, paternal grandfather Arthur Croft (Late Carol), Maternal Grandmother Vivian Underhill (Late Brian), Maternal Grandfather Eric Underhill (Colleen), aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandmother Lynn Croft and Grandfather Brian Underhill.
Ty William Croft is resting at St. Andrew’s United Church Hall on Wednesday from 3pm-8pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 2 pm at St. Andrew’s United Church Hall with Reverend Paul McGrattan officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
In Ty’s Memory, donations to memorial of one’s choice would be appreciated.

Kobe Curtis
Kobe Delton Jon Curtis, of Gray Rapids, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020, at the age of 16.
Born in Miramichi, he was the son of Rodney Coughlan and Leah (Curtis) Sutherland (Travis Sutherland). Kobe was a grade 12 student at Blackville High School and worked at the Chipman Mill as a night supervisor. He could often be found working on his dirt bike or his 1988 Oldsmobile.
He will be greatly missed by his parents; his siblings Bronson Sutherland and Paris Sutherland both at home; maternal grandparents Delton and Lori Curtis; grandmother Katherine Hennessy; great grandmother Ruth Underhill; uncle Delton Curtis Jr. of Blackville; aunts Amanda MacDonald (Jamie) of Blackville, April McCormack (John) of Miramichi, Danielle Hennessy of P.E.I., and Christine Hennessy of Alberta; and cousins Kate Donahue, Jayda MacDonald, Jaylyn MacDonald, Katelyn Underhill, Josh Underhill, Jordan Underhill, and Colt Riley.
Kobe was predeceased by his great grandparents Albert and Rachelle Curtis; great grandfather Emerson Underhill; great uncle Marcus Curtis; and cousin Bradley Kelly.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Gray Rapids United Pentecostal Church, on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 10 pm. The funeral service will be held at Gray Rapids United Pentecostal Church on Friday, September 18, 2020, at 2 pm, with Rev. Graham Russell officiating. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.

Denver Jardine
The death of Denver Joseph Jardine, son of Shannon and Angel (McCormack) Jardine of Gray Rapids, NB passed away accidentally on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the age of 17 in Blackville, NB. Born in Miramichi, NB, Denver was a Grade 12 student at Blackville High School, who worked as a summer student at the Fish Plant in Baie Ste. Anne.
Besides his parents, Denver is survived by: three brothers: Logan, Dawson and Ledger all at home; maternal grandparents: Carl and Glenda McCormack of Blackville, NB; paternal grandparents: Ralph and Gloria Jardine of Gray Rapids, NB; aunts and uncles: Carla McCormack (Terry), Cory McCormack (Lisa), Adam McCormack (Lezley), Dana Mae Campbell (Quentin) as well as many great aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive visitors at the Pentecostals of Gray Rapids in the Gray Rapids on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from the Pentecostals of Gray Rapids on Thursday at 12 PM with Rev. Graham Russell officiating.
Burial will take place in the Pentecostal Cemetery in Gray Rapids.

Thanking all for all the nice comments..This lil town of Blackville just won’t ever be the same with the loss of these boys…I know for sure my world will Never be alright again as long as I live I will be saddened from the loss of my boy..My Sonshine..Kobe Delton Jon Curtis who was Loved with all my Heart and Soul…You were Truly One Of A Kind Kobe with a True Heart and Kindest Soul I’ve ever seen…You were taken wayyy too soon Son..Until we see each other again Son you’ll be Sadly missed by many but most of all by Mommy…Love You ALWAYS AND FOREVER N EVER My Baby Boy….😭😢💔
Oh my so sad. I too know exactly what you’re going through. My son was killed on a motorbike July 18. A driver pulled right across the road in front of him. There is truly no words to explain your loss, just know the whole province and beyond are thinking of you and the other two families.
