A fundraising card party will be held for Jarrett Arbeau on Sunday, June 3 at the Father AA McKinnon Memorial Hall in Blackville at 7:00pm.

Jarrett was diagnosed recently with a very rare autoimmune disease called Goodpasture syndrome (GPS). It is a rare autoimmune disease in which antibodies attack the basement membrane in lungs and kidneys, leading to bleeding from the lungs and kidney failure.

He was transferred to Saint John Regional Hospital for treatment and is currently still there. He is the son of Jason and Michelle Arbeau of Upper Blackville.

The card party is by donation, and anyone wishing to drop off a donation can do so as well.  A GoFundMe page has also been set up.
