Former Blackville Student Aaron Dunn Selected for North American Collegiate Baseball Team
Former Blackville High School student Aaron Dunn has been selected to play on the North American Collegiate Baseball Team as part of “The North Baseball” experience. Aaron is the 18 year old son of Harry and Dawn (Brophy) Dunn of Keenans.
The team will travel to Germany, Austria and Switzerland from May 11 to 23.
Aaron was also a member of the UNB Cougars Collegiate Baseball Team this past fall. During this season, Aaron earned the honours of Rookie of the Year, as well as Pitcher of the Year.
He started his baseball career in Blackville Minor Baseball, where he was coached by his mother Dawn. He then went on to be part of the Chatham Ironmen and Miramichi Twins Baseball organizations. Aaron also volunteers by assisting in coaching in the Blackville Minor Baseball Program.
The North is a baseball program that brings student-athletes from across North America together for a baseball and cultural opportunity of a lifetime. Each baseball journey is unique – the team will explore what Europe has to offer while competing against some of Europe’s top baseball talent.
Awesome! Hope to see him play some day,
