Former Blackville Resident Rodney D’Alessio Painting Installed at Edmonton Transit Station

A painting by former Blackville resident Rodney D’Alessio has been displayed at the University Light Rail Transit Station in Edmonton, Alberta.

The artwork, entitled I Hate It Here, I Want to Go Home, is part of a series of work centred around his experience at the Dr. Roberts Hospital School in Saint John, New Brunswick where he lived as a child.

Rodney, who has been painting for a few years, created the artwork from memory.
