The Fall Clean Up for all communities within the Municipality of Miramichi River Valley will be held the week of September 22 – September 26, 2025 (during your regular Curbside Recycling collection day). Residents within the Blackville limits, who will be entering the final week of their weekly summer garbage collection schedule, will also have their regular garbage picked up that day (September 25). *

This white goods collection will include yard waste (boxed, bagged or tied in three foot length bundles); stoves, refrigerators, freezers, barbecues, bicycles, beds, mattresses, furniture, etc.

Please do not put out automobile parts, paint, tires, or batteries at the curb. If you have old tires, you can return them to any automotive dealership for disposal.

* NOTE: Weekly summer garbage collection in Blackville begins earlier and ends later than in other communities within Miramichi River Valley. This difference is due to varying tax rates among communities. Blackville residents, who pay a higher rate, fund the additional months of service within their community limits.
