The Women of Wilson’s Point

This season, Wilson’s Point is proud to celebrate the remarkable women who helped shape its history. Visitors are invited to journey through time and meet four women from four distinct historical periods who lived or worked beneath the towering pines:

  • 1755 – The Acadian Period

  • 1765 – The Beginning of the Scottish Settlement

  • 1825 – The Great Miramichi Fire

  • 1950 – The Beaverbrook Restoration

Costumed interpreters will bring these stories to life near the interpretive centre at 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., sharing the personal experiences of Anne, Elisabeth, Euphemia, and Louise. Their tales of hardship, resilience, and triumph offer a powerful new perspective on this historic gem.

Admission is free.
Presented in partnership with Character Matters Miramichi.
