The installation of a new splash pad by Leon Banks Pools & Spas is nearing completion at Blackville Park. Prep work on the site began on Monday, August 13.

A complete water filtration system and reservoir was constructed below ground. The pad has one above-ground spray feature and five in-ground embedded jets.

Blackville’s mayor Christopher Hennessy said that he and council “are proud to continue to create healthy recreational opportunities for the children and families in the village of Blackville.”

Remaining work on the pad should be completed soon, and will be announced when ready. A fence will also be erected around the splash pad.
