Blackville Home & School Hosts First Annual Fall Fair
The Blackville Home & School hosted their first annual Family Fall Fair on Sunday, September 23 at the Blackville Municipal Park. Admission to the fair was by monetary donation to Home and School or a food bank donation.
The event was well attended and included games, washer toss, oat sack races, face painting, jumping castle, pony rides and a bbq.
A 50/50 draw was won by Jamie McNeil and a basket of cleaning supplies by Faith Warren.
There were bake sale items for sale, as well as fudge, popcorn, candy apples, cotton candy and other treats.
Winners of the Car and Motorcycle Show and Shine, were Johnny Colford’s 1970 Impala and Loretta Gorbett’s motorbike.
All money raised goes back in to the school. The Home and School would like to thank everyone for attending and are excited about next years event.
