Blackville Fire Department Receives New Service Truck

On Thursday, October 4, the Blackville Fire Department added a new 2019 Ford F-250 to their service fleet.

Village Councillor Cindy Ross presented the keys to Fire Chief Garth Underhill.  Also in attendance were Deputy Fire Chief Christopher Sturgeon, Jamie Ouellette of Riverview Ford in Fredericton, and volunteer firemen Matthew Sturgeon, Bradley Brophy and Quinn Brophy.

This new 3/4 ton truck will be equipped with an assortment of tools and rescue equipment and will be used for traffic control and auto rescue.
