Blackville Community Family Wellness Day a Success
On Saturday September 16th, 120 people including children, youth, adults and seniors, came to the Father AA McKinnon Memorial Hall in Blackville to learn and to celebrate wellness.
The FREE event was organized by the Blackville Mango Health & Wellness Committee and was made possible by a regional wellness grant received from the Province of New Brunswick.
There were many activities for all ages. Lunch was catered by the the ladies of St. Raphael’s CWL. There were 17 booths to visit which was a great way for families to learn about the different services available in our community. Many door prizes, donated by local businesses and wellness groups, were won.
It was wonderful to see so many families, including grandparents, mingling, learning, laughing, eating healthy food and having lots of fun together.
The Blackville Health & Wellness Committee would like to thank everyone that came to the Community Family Wellness Day.
