28th Annual Earl Doherty Memorial Volleyball Tournament set for March 1 in Sunny Corner

The 28th Annual Earl Doherty Memorial Volleyball Tournament will take place on Saturday, March 1 at North & South Esk Regional High School in Sunny Corner.
All proceeds from the event will go towards the Earl Doherty Memorial Scholarship, benefiting NSER graduates.
Here are the details for the 2025 tournament:
- Date: Saturday, March 1, 2025
- Location: North & South Esk Regional High School, Sunny Corner, NB
- Divisions: Men’s and Women’s
- Registration Fee: $25 per player
- Team Selection: Teams will be chosen through a random draw.
- Registration Time: 8:00 am
- Start Time: Games kick off at 9:00 am

Looking to fix up the Sillikers ballfield and create a place for the kids for our kids to play ball and beach volleyball and a basketball pad with a playground. Two years ago I started a T-Ball team with 21 kids and the second year we had 58 kids. I would love to come to one of your meetings and give you a better idea of what we want to do.

You can contact the municipal office at 506-843-6337 if you would like to speak at an upcoming meeting. The meeting for February will be held on Tuesday, February 11 at 6:00 pm. You need to contact the office at least 24 hours before if you wish to speak at the meeting.
