The Annual Community Candlelight Parade and Blessing the Christmas Creche takes place Tuesday, December 19 at 6:30pm in Blackville. Lineup begins at the corner of Main Street and Shaffer Lane at the former village office.

The parade will proceed up Main Street to the outdoor nativity scene at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church for the blessing of the Creche. Various representatives of the churches in the Blackville area will be involved in a short service.

A reception will follow at Father AA McKinnon Memorial Hall.

Participants are asked to bring a candle – real or battery operated. All are welcome.
