Special Council Meeting, November 19, 2024
The Special meeting of the Miramichi River Valley met at 19:00 hrs with Mayor Russell residing.
- Resignation of Councillor Hallihan
Moved by Councillor M. Vickers, seconded by Councillor Brennan to accept the resignation of Councillor Dwain Hallihan. MOTION CARRIRED.
- Appointment of Director of Fire Services
Moved by Councillor M. Vickers, seconded by Councillor Gillespie to appoint Dwain Hallihan as the Director of Fire Services of the Miramichi River Valley fire departments.
MOTION CARRIED.
Council meets in regular session on the first Tuesday of each month. Meetings begin at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at the Miramichi River Valley Municipal Office, 12 Bartholomew Road South in Blackville and are open to the public.
