The week of August 25-29 was the final week for weekly garbage pickup for all communities within the boundaries of Miramichi River Valley, excluding the Blackville limits, where weekly garbage is in effect until September 25.

NOTE: Weekly summer garbage collection in Blackville begins earlier and ends later than in other communities within Miramichi River Valley. This difference is due to varying tax rates among communities. Blackville residents, who pay a higher rate, fund the additional months of service within their community limits.
