Miranda Nordin, a recent graduate of Blackville School, made a donation to the Blackville Recreation Council as part of her Capstone project in the Essential Skills program earlier this month.

As a way to give back to the community, Miranda built and donated three skating aids to the Blackville Outdoor Rink. These aids are designed to help children who are just learning to skate, providing them with extra stability and support on the ice.

Her project reflects the spirit of community involvement and youth leadership encouraged by the Essential Skills program. Thanks to Miranda’s initiative, young skaters in Blackville will benefit from safer, more accessible experiences at the outdoor rink.
