Residents of Miramichi River Valley will head to the polls on Monday, April 14 to vote in the Local Government By-Election to fill the councillor-at-large seat vacated by former councillor Dwain Hallihan.

Meanwhile, Paula Hare has been elected by acclamation to the Ward 1 seat, as she ran unopposed following the departure of former councillor Jeffrey E. Sheasgreen.
