From January 17-19, the IAFF Local 5087 Miramichi Professional Firefighters Association will host the NB Firefighter’s Metalfab Provincial Curling Tournament at the Miramichi Curling Club.

Firefighters from across New Brunswick will gather to compete for the opportunity to advance to the National Curling Tournament in 2026. Representing Miramichi River Valley will be teams from Sunny Corner Fire and the Renous Quarryville Fire Department (RQFD), ready to showcase their skills on the ice.

This exciting event promises to be a weekend of camaraderie, competition, and community spirit, featuring some of the best curling action in the province. Whether you’re a curling fan or simply want to cheer on our local heroes, head over to the rink and catch a game or two.

The action kicks off at 6:00pm on Friday, January 17 at the Miramichi Curling Club, 21 Cove Road in Miramichi.
