The Rural Community of Miramichi River Valley Council is composed of a Mayor and six Councillors, who are elected to serve a four-year term.

The Council holds regular meetings on the first Tuesday of every month, starting at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers located at the Blackville Community Center, 12 Bartholomew Road South. These meetings are open to the public.

Members of the public shall not be entitled to address the council during the meetings unless the clerk has been notified at least five business days prior to the council meeting, and the item has been added to the agenda of the meeting. Contact: 506-843-6337.
