Get ready for a spectacular weekend as Sunny Corner Days returns for 2025!

This year’s festival is spanning 4 days, from Thursday July 10 to Sunday, July 13. Hosted by the North & South Esk Recreation Council, this highly anticipated event promises a variety of activities and festivities that will bring joy to residents and visitors of all ages!

The Sunny Corner Arena and Ball Field will be the central hub for the celebrations, hosting a range of exciting events. The action kicks off on Thursday, July 10 with a parade through the Sunny Corner area. Calling all local businesses, organizations or families! Contact the NSE rec council to enter your float! Entertainment and BBQ to follow at the Sunny Corner Arena.

The always popular SloPitch Tournament kicks off Friday, July 11 at 6:00 PM.

Saturday, July 12, starts with a delicious breakfast served from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Attendees can then explore the Farmer’s Market running the same time as the breakfast, featuring local produce, crafts, and handmade goods. Slo Pitch play continues throughout the day.

For families, Saturday brings the highly anticipated Family Fun Day from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. With inflatables, face painting, petting zoo, mini putt, BBQ & treats, and more! This event guarantees a memorable experience for all.

A dance featuring the band Spoiled Rotten, rounds out the day at 10:00 PM. Advanced tickets available at Sunny Corner General Store and White Lightning Auto.

New this year! A pickleball tournament will be hosted at the new courts beside the Sunny Corner Arena! Competitive tournament starting at 9am, Recreational tournament (for all ages) starts at 2pm.

Sunday, July 9, will see exciting minor baseball actions, featuring the Sunny Corner Smelts 5U, 7U, 9U & 11U teams!  The  SloPitch Tournament will conclude with the Semis and Finals beginning at 10:00 AM. Expect intense competition as the top teams vie for ultimate glory!!
