The NB Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is planning a full closure of Route 8 (from Route 420 Interchange to Parker Road) in order to do construction work.
The road closure required to execute this work may impact traffic in the region and will require a detour. The construction is scheduled to last three weeks, from August 19 to September 6, 2024.
There will be a signed detour in place to guide traffic around site – the detour will take place on Route 108 and will add approximately 6-7 minutes travel time.
