Spring Cleaning with Meaning Clothing Drive this Saturday

Roots of Empathy is hosting a clothing drive to collect garbage bags of used clothing and other goods listed below. Roots of Empathy receives a monetary contribution for each bag collected. The money received will be used to increase the number of Roots of Empathy programs in our area. If each person fills at least one garbage bag we can make a difference for children in our area as well as children and families with intellectual disability in New Brunswick.

The drop-off date is Saturday, May 25 at the Blackville Community Centre, 12 South Bartholomew Road, between 9:00am and 3:00pm.

Acceptable items include men’s, women’s and children’s clothing such as: belts, linens, blankets, dresses, pants, purses, shirts, shoes, shorts, sweaters, towels and stuffies.

If you are unable to drop them off on Saturday please feel free to drop them off at the school office between 8:00am and 3:00 pm any day this week.
