Post Natal Drop-In at Blackville Community Centre

Beginning Monday, October 1, there will be a Post Natal Drop-In at the Blackville Community Centre, 12 South Bartholomew Road.

This program is free and is for babies 0-12 months only. Sessions will be held every Monday for five weeks, until October 29, from 1:30pm until 3:00pm.

Older children and their parents are invited to the Drop-In Playgroup on Thursday mornings at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Quarryville. For more information, contact Wendy Astle at 625-1459.

ABOUT
The Newborn New Life Program is a community-based program that provides prenatal and postnatal support to pregnant women, new mothers, babies and families in Blackville, Sunny Corner and surrounding communities. It aims to improve maternal-infant health, increase the rate of healthy birth weights, and to promote and support breastfeeding.

The program is provided by Miramichi’s Family Resource Center (A Family Place Inc.), as part of the Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada.
