Blackville Wellness Hosts Music in the Park with Boom Road Gospel Jammers

The Blackville Mango Health & Wellness committee hosted their summer music series “Music in the Park” with the Boom Road Gospel Jammers on Wednesday, August 21. About ninety people were in attendance.

Performers for the evening included Chloe Furlong, Shepy Arbeau, Shirley Arbeau, Howie Lee, Ann Lee, Dana Hogan, Beverly Hogan, Paul Hubbard, Susanne Furlong Saulnier, Bob Bee, Sharon Astle, Jackie Flieger, Anna Arsenault and Robbie Davis.

Nearly $200 was raised for the wellness committee, which hosts a variety of free events throughout the year, as well as sponsoring youth programs including Blackville School’s Chefs Program and the Positive Ticketing initiative.

Music in the Park takes place every Wednesday evening at 7:00pm. Performing on August 28 is Susanne Furlong Saulnier. Admission is free. View photos below. Click an image to enlarge.
